The Kempen building style has drifted across from the Belgian region. The style is characterised by its calming atmosphere and exudes authenticity. AA+ Ontwerpbureau, in collaboration with Dauby, ensured that this home was fitted out in this stunning, authentic style, right down to the smallest details. In this house, you can see the beautiful result of choosing top quality craftsmanship with respect to door fittings, and the collaboration of both parties.
Door fittings for interior doors
To give the house a rural look, door fittings with an authentic cast iron look from the Pure® collection were selected. The Pure® collection is made of maintenance-free materials, created using a top quality, rust-free metal alloy. This material has been especially developed to mimic the precise, charming appearance of aged iron.
Authentic interior
No coating is guaranteed to stay completely unscratched but the coating that is used for Pure® is guaranteed to provide excellent adhesion. Natural wear and tear and weathering will just add to the authentic character. Just like the door fittings, which are made of aged iron. A fantastic solution, resulting in an atmospheric and authentic look.
Door handle material
Door fittings with a white bronze finish have also been used in the house. White bronze is an alloy of bronze. Some of the copper is replaced by tin and zinc to create an elegant, silvery colour. The material is not only colour-fast, it is also rust-free so a protective layer is not required. The process of oxidation may give the bronze door fittings a more matte patina and eventually slight colour differences may occur.
