This door handle can be found in Brussels homes from the late 18th - early 19th century. In turn, it was inspired by the Chemin de Fer model which was purpose-designed in 1883 for the sumptuously appointed dining wagons of the Orient Express. A pair consisting of a T and an L shape, whereby the clue is in the name “T” model, indicating that you need to pull.
