This home clearly demonstrates that a new-build can be a complete experience. The residence had to exude warmth but be a little daring all at the same time. We wanted to create a home which couldn’t be figured out in one glance. It had to be exciting and surprising. The client’s colourful personality also had to shine through in the interior.
Firstly, the seated area was decorated with panelling and the entire corner was given a matt, petrol colour. The large windows in the house allowed the walls to be painted with a bold, darker shade. The dresser with its unique finish fills the full width of the seated area, creating a calm look.
And such an atmospheric seated area meant that the dining area had to be eye-catching too. This corner incorporates life-like wallpaper, a customised table and cabinet, and stunning, hand-blown lights. Accessories and green elements are also vital and were given the perfect spot on the customised steel racking.
