Hand-made elements and natural materials.

A sleek, rustic interior needs unique detailing, such as

  • durable, robust wood;
  • atmospheric, soft lighting;
  • metal and bronze tiles;
  • intense earthy shades.

The Pure® Tiles were carefully selected to add a refined touch. What makes these traditional, hand-made tiles so authentic is the way in which they are manufactured. They are cast in sand moulds that create small irregularities and imperfections on the surface.

In order to combine sleek with rustic, the tiles have been arranged in a chequerboard pattern. This creates an atmospheric, calm look & feel.

Want to know more about the materials used? The counter at Graaf Ter Horst was created using:

Genuine craftsmanship

For its interior design, Graaf Ter Horst consulted Fi-Touch, which has a workshop in the centre of Sevenum, in the Netherlands. This studio creates customised, hand-made designs according to the client’s needs and wishes.

Do you have a project in mind? Fi-touch would be happy to come up with a design and take care of the realisation process, for a professional finish.

This passion for traditional craftsmanship meant that Fi-Touch came knocking at Dauby’s door when creating the wall for the serving counter.

A centuries-old production process

Just like the furniture, door and window fittings from Dauby, each tile is manufactured using a centuries-old production process. The tiles are cast in sand moulds and finished by hand.

Because the Pure® Tiles are exclusively made from natural materials, they will develop a living finish over time and in line with the intensity of use.
The metal and bronze tiles develop a patina which makes the product both charming and unique.
