AA+ are experts at creating luxury Campine and Gooiland villas. For this project, it was decided to go for a classic rustic style yet contemporary design. The curved steel trusses with oakwood girders were also used in the kitchen.
Attention went out to every detail. Dauby’s furniture fittings as seen on the kitchen units are perfectly geared to the garden and the interior and exterior of this lavish Gooiland villa.
A Gooiland villa with a balanced interior
Courtesy of AA+’s masterly bespoke efforts, this sophisticated Gooiland villa in the hilly Veluwe region makes for a harmonious entity.
Seen from above, the roof has an H-shape that rests on uneven bearing walls, giving a different taken on the villa from each angle. The home’s interior has been given a sleek rustic style design. The curved roof is clearly visible from inside the voids. Take a look at the distinctive curved steel trusses supported by oakwood girders. The same approach was used in the kitchen-diner.
The oakwood table top with a black steel support frame was judiciously hand-picked beforehand, as were the oakwood kitchen unit doors with cast black fittings. The hand-crafted furniture fittings in Aged Iron are the proverbial cherry on the cake in the dream kitchen of this unique Gooiland villa, only serving to enhance the rustic look & feel.
The PMBU-128 and PMBU-224 furniture pulls are from Dauby’s Pure® collection. These Butterfly pulls have a flowing shape, yet they exude an unmistakable strength.
