A home filled with colour is a source of instant delight. During summer and spring, your interior is made to mirror the fresh tints seen in the garden, whilst your colourful home interior makes up for the lack of outdoor floral abundance during autumn and winter. Chances are you are inclined to bring in accent colours in the guise of small accessories such as cushions, picture frames or table cloths. But have you ever considered distinctively coloured door and window handles? Odessa takes an original approach to setting your home awash with colour!

Colour your home with Odessa handles

The door and window fittings in the Odessa series were designed by Maurizio Duranti. They come in a range of colours, from orangey yellow to aquarium blue. Although there is nothing to suggest you cannot fit all the doors in any given room with a handle of the same tint, this is another element for you to toy around with.

Why not choose the colour of your handles in consideration of the purpose served by the room in question? Green for the garage and blue for the bathroom, for instance. Thankfully the Odessa handles are chameleonic and adapt to the setting where they are used in terms of tint and effect: from playful in the nursery, across sleek in a modern living room, all the way up to flowery in a romantic bedroom.

Orangey yellow or rather whitish grey?

Odessa’s orangey yellow handle brings in the sun. Yellow oozes energy and light whereas canary yellow attracts a little too much attention, which makes it more difficult to combine. Odessa’s orangey yellow tint is easily matched with other interior decoration whilst exuding a particularly cheerful feel. The grey and white variants are more restrained and have a restful effect. If you swear by a black & white home interior you will be very pleased with these ageless handles.

Green-blue or bluish green?

Even though green may not necessarily be the first colour you would think of for your door and window fittings, it is an enchanting tint. Moreover, green has an uplifting effect. Blue in turn is a cool, restful and ‘open’ colour. Brighten up your home with a small piece of heaven on earth, waiting to be combined with white doors or windows for a balanced home interior.
